Duties and Responsibilities :
Used the knowledge and ability of nursing process to provide nursing care, making full physical assessment, planning and implementing nursing actions, evaluating the effects, revising and updating care plan as indicated.
Checked equipments/ machines if available and are in good condition, checked emergency drugs if available.
Prepare bed, ventilators, cardiac monitor, suction machine, emergency drugs, and other necessary equipment before receiving patients.
Connected /attached and monitored; patient to mechanical ventilator, cardiac monitor and other monitoring devices/parameter as appropriate to their respective modules.
Ensured functioning of chest drains/tube (any leakage, maintain pleurevec drainage system, etc.). Checked for patency of NGT and indwelling catheter.
