Mini Project Title : LG FAULTS BY USING MATLAB
Any abnormal conditions which causes flow of huge current in the conductors or cable through inappropriate paths in the circuit can be defined as a fault.The line to ground fault occurs when a live phase comes in contact with the ground or earth. When such a fault occurs very high current from the line to ground creating unstability in the power.
In such condition, the voltage of that particular phase will be nearing to zero and also corresponding rise in current can be seen in those phases.
Technical Project : Temperature Monitoring & Cooling Control System Of Transformer
In order to improve efficiency , reliability , continous power flow & longer life . Increasing the cooling rate of a transformer increases its capacity. It must prevent hot spots-working parts of large transformers are usually submerged in high-grade insulating oil.A monitoring and cooling methods are safe, reliable, easy to use and cost effective and Extends transformer life in any application . Measurement accuracy is held across the complete range of environmental and power supply extremes.
Main Project Title : A Versatile control scheme for a dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) for power quality improvement BY USING MATLAB
In order to store the voltage for a limited period of time for the purpose of voltage imbalances & improves power quality.Basically , DVR is a voltage source converter & It can be easily adaptable to different types i.e., for voltage & also to current. By connecting, DVR the voltage or current can be stored by using this the amount of power will be improves & also reduces the power loss.In this control scheme , only one controller is required to eliminate three PQ disturbances i.e,. voltage sags , harmonic voltages & voltage imbalances.
