Key Responsibilities :
Strategy and Development:
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice warehouse vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance

People Management:
** Coach, manage and develop warehouse staff and team leaders to optimise performance and meet targets and deadlines
** Communicate with warehouse staff on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational requirements
** Ensure effective warehouse and distribution operations by implementing department policies and procedures
** Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess on-going performance of direct reports

Job Responsibilities :
** To implement Optimum Inventory Management, tracking the indents, stores and issues at site on regular basis.
** To ensure that the material received is as per the Purchase Order or Stock Transfer in terms of the quality and quantity and the deviations.
** To track the material issues to various Departments and to ensure that the unused materials are returned to the Stores.
** To unload the material received and stacked or stored in a safe and proper place for a better Material Management while making organizing receipts and issues or otherwise.
** To maintain the optimum stock levels of frequently used material.
** To coordinate with all the Department for orders & schedule on the arrival of materials.
** To delegate and monitor the Stores Assistant on the maintenance of registers of types as per the Company Policy reflecting the receipts, issues, dead stock, minimum stock levels and so on.
** Ensure that the appropriate records are maintained both in manual and Computer systems.
** To ensure that reconciliation of the materials, issued and purchased, on monthly basis in accordance with the work done in close coordination with the Aps Department.
** To periodically update on the pending indents and alert the concern department.
** Preparationof Goods Received Notes, Purchase Order and Purchase Requisition & Receiving of Quotation.
** Issuing of Stock Updating on Daily basis.
** Preparation of Monthly report & re


porting to HOD.
** Stock statement, Stock audit works, fast and slow moving items report.
** Independent handling of Store Inventory system on computerized using SAP.
** Managing the warehouse in line with the company’s standards
** Complying with the company’s policies and vision
** Overseeing basic operations, such as receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance of products
** Safeguards warehouse operations by complying with extensive security procedures and protocols
** Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
** Take charge of stock control and warehouse organization
** Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
** Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc).

Relationship Management  :
** Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimise results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards requirements and customer deliverables.
** Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
** Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with department strategy.
** Assist Senior Management in ensuring effective relationships with client businesses through maintaining an appropriate interface between the warehouse, suppliers and customers.
** Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies as and when required in a timely way and handle any concerns.
** Liaise with others in the business to monitor requirements and to ensure quality of service.
** Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Warehousing activities
