Responsibilities :
** Ensure that the work carried out complies with International Standardization codes, project specifications, work instructions, procedures as appropriate. Perform Surveillance Inspection like materials/fit up/visual/NDT/painting for fabrication & erection works to ensure that the construction work is performed and meet the project specific Quality Requirements
** Liaises with Project Managers/Engineers, Client inspectors for day-to-day inspection activities at shop/site.
** Perform and Inspection of QA/QC Testing likes Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Dye Penetrant Testing, Radiographic Testing and Hydrostatic Testing.
** Interpret RT films pertaining to welding joints.
** Prepare & submit all test result reports.
** Raise Non-Conformance Reports as seen during inspection and follow-up on status of rework and close-out. Attend to all potential problems to prevent occurrence of defects. Prepare documents like Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & Conducting WQT.
** Preparation of Inspection Report and Final Document for Dossier. Attending weekly progress meeting with client representing QC team.

** Checking of weld defects like extra penetration, Lack of fusion, porosity etc.
** Perform NDT as required.
** Evaluation of radiographic films, sand blasting, wrap coating, hydro testing
** Prepare Non conformity reports and submit to the superiors on issues of Quality.
