Process Profile  : Loan accounting is a functional support unit of Bank of America business segments. Process deals with reconciliation of loan booked on Global Investment Bank, Commercial Real Estate Bank and Automated financial System and primarily making sure the sub ledgers reconciles to the Company’s General Ledger.
We deals with loan issued to the bank of America corporate sectors and do the reconciliation of loans Generally the reconciliation of sub ledgers to the bank of America general ledger and end of month report the transactions on a system called EZREC (mainframe tool) to make sure the month balance for the accounts are in balance and if not research and find out the leakage




Roles and responsibilities  :
Accountable for the account reconciliation on daily basis
Adhering to Reconciliation Policy guidelines as established by Bank of America; Reporting exception items on EZREC (Bank’s reconciliation system) each month
Working in close conjunction with Global Financial Controller, USA, submitting Resolution Extension Requests and notifications to Business Finance Officer for outstanding items.
Responsible for ensuring all SLA’s are met; reporting Dashboards to BACS Management
Conducting internal audits in the team
Addressing & resolving escalations received within in the TAT and implementing control plans.
Interacting with different lines of businesses on needful basis
Preparing the reconciliations keeping in intact the SOX & risk compliance, info security for the audit purpose.
Updating ageing tracker every day for the outstanding items.
Active Participation in training the New Hire employees on the process when needed.
Always in upfront for helping Peers
