Provided technical support to design team and performed all repairs in instrument devices and control systems.
Worked with major plc’s programming like GE fanuc,Siemens,ABB,Omron and Scada designing of Wonderware-Intouch and DCS systems.
Undertake installation and commissioning of PLC’s and electronic instrumentation on field facilities.
Prepared work schedules, direct the work of subcontractors involved in various activities and monitors the commissioning costs to enhance the overall efficiency within budgeting constraints.
Duties also include proposal estimating, planning of project Process Control activities and reporting / forecasting performance.
Performed troubleshooting of field instruments and have practical field knowledge.
Design of selection of electrical devices of switchgear & Control Panel.
CURRICULUM PROJECT :
TITLE : CAES (COMPRESSED AIR ENERGY STORAGE) BASED ENERGY CONSERVATION IN WIND MILLS USING PLC
DESCRIPTION : The main objective of this project is to conserve the generated Power in the form of COMPRESSED AIR and this pressure energy is utilized to run the wind turbines to generate the Power whenever there is demand .
Programmable Logic Controller [PLC] is used to automate the whole system.PLC controls the operation of the ON/OFF relays to the various devices of the system. According to the program logic loaded in PLC it activates and deactivates the relays .This system is not existing in wind mills .we propose this system to be installed in wind mills to conserve the energy and making use of it and mainly to enhance the power generation in wind mills.
MINI PROJECT :
TITLE :TEMPERATUREAND LEVEL MONITORING IN A BOILER USING LABVIEW
DESCRIPTION :
The objective of this project is to monitor the temperature and Level inside the boiler using LABVIEW software. In this real time values of Level and temperature are sensed by the appropriate sensors and that values are send to the computer using a DAQ system .The DAQ system interfaces the process and Lab view software which is installed in the computer. A user defined module is designed to monitor the parameters in Lab view.
