** In this project an attempt is made to design an automatic switching system for controlling and operating the GRID with maximum efficiency and optimum economy.
** Here we used a microcontroller (AT89C51) to control the operation.
** Depending on the loading on the outgoing feeders the input feeders are switched by the microcontroller
