PROJECT(1) : “CONTACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM”

Description : Contacts Management for mobile phone using C ANSI standard. User can update the Contact details by adding new user contacts, delete contacts or edit contacts. File structure is used to save & access database using file descriptor.
The key features of contact management in mobile phone are listed below :
** Add new contacts : with information such as name, phone number, address, and email
** List all contacts : lists all the contacts stored in file with their respective contact details
** Search contacts : based on name and phone number
** Edit contacts : edit information given while adding the contacts – name, phone number, address, and email
** Delete contacts : deletes contacts from file.
PROJECT (2) : “GSM INTERFACING WITH MICROCONTROLLERS”
Technology : Embedded C Programming.
Tools : Keil5 IDE.
Description :GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) is a digital mobile telephony system. The GSM module communicates with the microcontroller and mobile phones through UART. GSM module only understands AT commands, and can respond accordingly. Instead of using PC, we can use microcontrollers to interact with GSM module and LCD to get the response from GSM module. The user sends AT commands from microcontroller and receive response from GSM and display it on LCD. Microcontroller’s serial port is used to communicate with GSM.
PROJECT (3) : “INTERFACING ADC TO MICROCONTROLLERS”
Technology : Embedded C Programming.
Tools : Keil5 IDE.
Description :Interfacing an ADC to 8051 embedded controller forms a very essential part in all embedded projects. It initiates the ADC to convert a given analogue input, then accepts the corresponding digital data and displays it on the LCD.
Control signals for the ADC are INTR,WR,RD and CS. Steps for ADC as follows :
1. Make CS=0 and send a low to high pulse to WR pin to start the conversion.
2. Now keep checking the INTR pin. INTR will be 1 if conversion is not finished and INTR will be 0 if conversion is finished.
3. If conversion is not finished (INTR=1) , poll until it is finished.
4. If conversion is finished (INTR=0), go to the next step.
5. Make CS=0 and send a high to low pulse to RD pin to read the data from the ADC.

Description : Aim is to Secure data transfer.Cryptography and Steganography are the techniques used For Communication of Secret information. Usually in Cryptography the content of secret message is scrambled while in Steganography the secret message is embedded into the cover medium. In this project a high secured model has been developed by combining cryptographic and Steganographic security. Sequential algorithm is used for Steganography and Symmetric XOR algorithm is used for Cryptography.This application will be first of its kind to be implemented on cloud and the input will be through android Application where in the images from the android phone will travel to the cloud server where matlab will process the images and result are returned back to android phone.
Diploma : Wireless Billing System For Malls Using RFID Tags & Readers

Description : Here two units are used Trolley Unit and Billing Unit. All the Trolleys in the Mall will be fitted with RFID based circuits. When user collects any item/material then its name & cost will be displayed on screen.Total amount with material count also will be displayed on screen with buzzer. All the materials are fixed with RFID tags. After adding the material, trolley unit will send the same data towards computer for final billing purpose, for this communication Zigbee is used.
