ACADEMIC PROJECT : ZERO HEAD HYDROELECTRIC TURBINE
In this system we extract energy from flowing water with very low head.
The model has a spiral offset arrangement of blades which facilitates smooth running of the turbine.
There is no need of storage of water at high head and no need of construction dam.
This is one of the alternative energy extraction models which are very useful to satisfy energy demand.
