Designing network layouts with equipment redundancies, Network reliability, and flexibility for expansion, optimized operation & maintenance.
Capacity Planning, Frequency Planning and Link Budgeting for Access and Backbone N/W.
PCM Planning (Block Diagram) using NMS trails of Hops and PCM Planning for E1 routing for month Bucket.
ET allocation for new site Creation in BSC.
New BSC Planning & Rehoming Planning and Ater Planning.
Interference reduction in the access network within limits.
Microwave Projections for the additional Site rollout and Capacity Requirement and enhancement planning.
Knowledge of SDH equipment like MUX.
Metro hub planning for Loop and Ring protection of sites.
Preparation of MW Frequency Allocations Table (according to ITU and ETSI Standard).
Work experience with Ceragone IP10 Equipment.
Making MW material deployed Database, SDHPDH dismantle tracker.
Making MRN Input for new LB.
Creating MapInfo for month (updating legends, Handover Sites, OnAir Sites etc).
Coordination with RF and Implementation section for Transmission related problems.
Providing guidance for LOS surveys.
Validation of New Sites Lat/long and providing TX remarks for surveyed sites from Microwave point of view.
Verification of MW Antenna Height using Path Loss.
Creating Path Profile and taking corrective action for problematic hops.
Checking feasibility of LOS using Path loss IV, Global Mapper and Google Earth.
Managing a team of 18 survey Engineers & Coordinator.
Conduct joint site survey with the Transmission engineers, Civil works engineer site acquisition group for a new proposed BTS sites to complete the GSM network.
Involved in project management activities; responsible for monitoring onsite activities and final execution of projects as per cost and time schedule.
Preparation of documents needed for Government clearances like SACFA/WPC.
Perform capacity planning on existing links and advice on need for optimization and expansion.
