Design and Fabrication of Creep testing machine
** Project is established to find out the specimen under creep. creep is a failure mode which occurs under constant load at constant temperature.
** Objective : Generally creep testing machine takes very long duration to perform the testing operation keeping that in mind, this creep testing machine designed and fabricated to reduce time and improve the efficiency. It take less time comparatively (by reducing the temperature range) & also more efficient than the other type of creep testing machine.
Project Work (Diploma) :
Design and Fabrication of Pipe Cutting Machine
** FABRICATION OF PIPE CUTTING MACHINE – Normal practice pipe cutting machines are designed/fabricated for restricted cutting operations like carbon steels. Where as in this machine cutting machine is designed and fabricated to cut ferrous and nonferrous material with different type of tool, hardware supported with automated coolant supply system.
Industrial Training :
** Undergone 3 weeks of in- plant training in “GURU BROS”, a mechanical industry which manufactures automated welding systems, located in the Guindy industrial estate, Chennai during the 4th semester vacations.
Organization does design and manufacturing of special purpose welding and automated welding systems which houses advanced technologies and varsities, to aid its design and manufacture.
Example. Programmable linear dual (PLD) torch for Alu. MIG process and Programmable jig boring machine.
** Visteon Automotive system India Pvt.Ltd.-chennai
In Visteon automotive systems manufactures Climate control systems, instrument clusters, plastic components and complete cockpit assemblies and they manufacturing parts like Condensers, A/C Hoses, Fluid Transport, HVAC Cooling Modules, Intercoolers, Radiators.
Academic Awards :
** Attended and Awarded 2nd prize in paper presentation of topic CIM(CIM is based on CADD & CAM) during Annual Day Celeberation in PGP College of Engineering at Namakkal.
