Project Work
“Studies On Antilithiatic Effect Of Whole Plant Of Saccharum spontaneum Linn in rats ”.
DESCRIPTION : The ethanolic extract of Whole plant was studied for antilithiatic activity. Ethylene glycol was used for the induction of renal stone for 28days. Plant extract was used for curative and preventive regimens. The parameters studied are calcium, oxalate, phosphate levels in urine, kidney and creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, uric acid levels in blood and histopathology studies. The results show the effective inhibition of crystallization
