Job Responsibilities :
Evaluation of Pre and Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) Chart.
Preparing and implementing Inspection Test Plan an
d Method Statement for various activities involved in the construction and Project Specification & relevant international standard and getting approval from client.
Performing Welder Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) in case of the variation in the essential variable with existing PQR as per international standard and additional requirement of client.
Preparing of Welder Procedure Specification (WPS) and ensuring that only qualified procedure are applied in the work.
Maintain record of all welders and ensure their qualification continuity.
Ensuring welding consumables and the material used for the work in compliance with specified requirements.
Notified the Non-Conformance identify during inspection and recommending corrective measure to the site supervisor.
Review the NDT Repots.
Preparation the Welder Rejection Report.
Witness Various Destructive Testing.
Preparation of Method Statement, Work instruction, QAP/ITP and all procedure related to QA/QC.
Conduct all stage wise Inspection as per approved QCP/ITP with client, owner & third party.
Stage wise inspection as per QC Plan of Piping like –Material identification, Fit-up, Weld Visual ,NDT Clearance ,Dimension & Level check, Mechanical Clearance, Hydro Test, Blasting, Painting &Box-up.
Inspection of all piping system of GA Drawing, P&ID, Isometric & Support details.
Co-ordinate with the Third Party Inspection Agencies.
To conduct and evaluate NDT Method (RT, UT, MPT, PT) of weld joint as per ASME Section-VIII acceptance standards.
Interpretation of RT Films as per –VIII acceptance standards.
Implementation of approved procedure (WPS&PQR) and maintaining quality record as per quality management system requirements.
Continuous monitoring of Welding consumables and treatment of electrodes.
Inspect lines in accordance with P&ID & Isometric drawing for mechanical clearance.
Issue Punch List and follow –up.
Documentation of quality records as per ISO standards.
CoOrdinate with other Department, Client and Sub-Contractors for the smooth functioning of QA/QC activities, Manpower Management and review interim and final documents .
Familiarity :
Knowledge of GTAW, SMAW Welding process for CS, CS NACE, SS as per WPS.
Familiar with ASME code and standards.
Familiar with Hardness Testing, thickness, measurement tester and weld gauge.
Familiar with Stress Relieving Test.
