System Description  :The system is used to measure load on a moving crane. The system consists of a transmitter and a hand held receiver. The transmitter part consists of a load cell a micro controller and transceiver. The hand held receiver receives the data and process it to display the load in the LCD display.
Environment  : Microcontroller with ADC, e2prom,LCD Display, Transceiver modules.

Project #02  : Belt Scale(IPA Pvt Ltd)

Role  : Hardware and software development, Hardware testing.
System Description  :The system is used to measure flow of materials through conveyor belts. The system uses 8051 micro-controller for data processing .It has basically two inputs, taco for speed measurement and load cell for weight measurement. The equipment gives output in terms of load, speed, rate and totaliser. It has relay contacts for under load, over load, set achieve etc. It's HMI part consists of a 16key matrix keyboard and a 16-character double row LCD display.
Environment  : Microcontroller, Latches, e2prom, nvRam, ADC, De-mux, LCD Display, Opto isolators, Digital isolators, MEMS Servo accelerometer, Photo micro sensors etc.

Project #03  :Angle Sensor(IPA Pvt Ltd)

Project Duration  : 3 Months.
Role  : Hardware developing and Testing.
System Description  : This device is used with Beltscale to correct the measured load on conveyor belt when belt is inclined. The conveyor may be transferring material at an angle between +/-15 degrees. When belt is inclined the load cell reading will be less than the actual load. The measured load has to be divided with cosine of the angle to get the actual load. A servo accelerometer with sensitivity 1v/g (ADXL 103) is used as sensor and the o/p is converted to digital form using an ADC and the corresponding angle is measured.
Environment  :MEMS Servo accelerometer, ADC, Opamps, Microcontroller etc.

Project # 04  : Automation of Coil Winding Machine(Chiptech Labs Pvt Ltd)

My Role  :
** Retracing the whole Circuit, Re-Designing and testing the hardware.
** Guiding software engineers in developing software for the machine.

System Description  :
The machine is used to make Transformers (Both Toroidal and Linear).


The machine consists of either an AC or a DC motor of which speed has to be controlled and a stepper motor.
The machine has a proximity sensor, a laser sensor, motor drives, LCD, control circuitry etc.
Environment  : Microcontroller, e2prom, DAC, PWM, Stepper motor, DC motor, optical sensor, proximity sensors etc.

Project#05  : ICCP Panel (TR Unit, Thyristor Based)(Cathodic control Pvt Ltd)
Client  : Cochinrefineries
Duration  : 2 Months
Role  : Production & Commissioning Engineer. Analyzing wiring diagram and terminate them accordingly. Testing and commissioning of the full system.
System description  : The panel is based on 3 phase controlled rectifier using three thyristor diode modules. The system o/p is 100 V 75 A max. System has power supply section control section and thyristor driver section. The system has two references which allow the control section to measure the potential of underground pipe line and according to these references the system will impress required current to prevent corrosion of the underground metal pipe line.

Project#06  : ASG(Active Shaft Ground)(µC And Power transistor Based)(Cathodic control Pvt Ltd)
Client  : GoaShip Engineers
Duration  : 2 Months
Role  : Production & Commissioning Engineer. As production engineer in assembling and testing of the panel. Involved in commissioning of ASG systems in Navy Ship.
System description  : The Purpose of this panel is to reduce the current fluctuation of ICCP system due to slip ring brush assembly of propeller shaft within .2 mV. Panel have a maximum capacity of 25 A.

Project#07  : ICCP Panel Production (µC And SMPS Based)(Cathodic control Pvt Ltd)
Client  : Goa Ship Engineers (INS Nirdeshak & Nashak)
Duration  : 2 Months.
Role  : Production & Commissioning Engineer. As production engineer in assembling and testing of the panel. Involved in dummy load demonstration and sea trial during commissioning of ICCP systems in Navy ship.
System description  : The panel is based on 3 phase SMPS and control unit. The SMPS is based on SG 3525 PWM IC. Four similar SMPS are used to power four anodes with a max O/P of 10 V 25 A according to feedback from the three Ag AgCl reference electrodes.

Project#08 : ICCP Panel Development & Testing.(Cathodic control Pvt Ltd)
Client : Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.
Duration : 4 Months.
Role : Involved In R&D of new hardware, Production & Testing of the panel. Assembling Testing and trouble shooting of new hardware. Functional testing of system for finalization of Hardware.Testing and demonstration of first prototype before customer and third party inspection agency.
System description : The panel serves ICC Protection for underground pipelines around oil refineries. The system is intended to protect the pipelines even in the absence of ac supply. The panel has an inbuilt battery charger setup which will keep a 24V 200AH lead acid battery charged and even if power supply fails it will be able to drive the DC To DC converter which provides the required O/P current for protecting the pipeline from corrosion. The system has auto semi auto and manual mode. In auto mode the system will impress required current for protecting the metal pipeline automatically with feedback from (Cu: CuSO4) reference electrodes.

Project#09 : Louver Automation.(M2i)

System description : Gate automation system is used to controll flow of sunlight light and rain. It is capable to opening and closing Louvered roof through remote control as well as switches. It also has an in built battery back up in case of power failure.

Project#10 : Production Of Automatic Gates.(M2i)
Role : Production In Charge. Planning, Purchasing, Producing and Testing. Planning and executing production process. Guiding Production executives in production work. Functional testing.
