OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB :
Select the new case from the CARES inbox for processing, check the case for regulatory compliances,
enter the data and make sure right information is going in.
ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES :
Select a new case from the CARRES inbox for processing.
Prints and reviews standard form/ source documents contained in the case.
Enters case information in the appropriate fields.
Encodes verbatim terms using MedDRA for patient history, product indication, death information screen, and event term information.
Enters labeling for all BMS suspect products.
Enters Reporter causality if indicated for spontaneous or literature files, but is not required if it is not indicated.
Selects appropriate narrative summary template (i.e. : spontaneous, literature, clinical trial).
Enters information into the general comments field to communicate to others as necessary.
After completion of all the safety review fields :
Runs QC.
Runs Distribution Rules.
Attaches all necessary letters and/or queries in accordance with Data Entry Conventions.
Ready sends the case to Medical Review Safety Physician.
Ability to read quantities of highly structured data and transcribe data to fields according to business rules with high degree of quality.
