PROJECT :
Project title : Design and Fabrication of working model of Automatic molten metal pouring system in the moulds using electronic circuits and sensors.
Project Objective : To automate the metal pouring process to avoid the human interference in high temperature regions in simple and economical way.
Important Features :
** Moulds moving on the conveyor, stopping at the furnace point.
** Control circuit to open metal pouring slit of the furnace to pour the molten wax into the mould.
** Duration of the pouring process controlled by timer circuit depending on the size of the casting so that after filling of mould pouring should stop automatically.
** The filled mould continue to move away from the pouring point making provision for the next mould to reach the furnace pouring point and stop.
** Individual contribution :Basic idea, design and framework of the project, selection and combination of various electronic & electrical components.
Outcome :
** Human interference in high temperature region is avoided and risk of the probable accidents is reduced
