PAPER PUBLISHED:
** Miss Srushti R J, Prof Nithya E, “A Pan-sharpening Based on the Non-subsampled Contoured Transform and Discrete Wavelet Transform” in International Journal of Science, Engineering and Technology Research, Volume…4.Issue…5, May-2015., pp. 1570..-.1576.
PROJECT:
PROJECT 1:
Title of the project (BE) :“Dynamic Load Balancing in Distributed Systems”
Project Description :
** Objective of our project is to balance the network load, by sending the clients requests toload balancing server instead of sending in to respective node servers.
** Load balancing server checks the availability of the server and forwards the requests to that server.
** After receiving the requests the respective servers respond to the request and forward the result to the load balancing server, it intern forward it to respective client.
** Thus clients will get the quick response from load balancing server.
Technology : JAVA: JSP, Servlets, Multithreading concept, MS-ACCESS.
Duration of the project : 6 months
Team size :4 members
Role : Involved in Designing, coding, and test plan preparation, testing and documentation.
PROJECT 2:
Title of the project (BE) :“Computer graphics paper planes”
Project Description :
** Thisproject is computer graphics paper creative work.
That is, it shows the flying paper planes on screen.
** Simple figure planes are created in different types of colours.
** The projects allows to add more planes and also to remove them from the screen.
** It also allow to see static planes or watch them flying on the screen.
Technology : OpenGL using C++
Duration of the project :1 month
Team size : 2 member
Role : Programming and documentation.
PROJECT 3:
Title of the project (M.Tech) : “A Pan Sharpening Based on Non-Subsampled Contourlet Transform and Discrete Wavelet Transform”
Project Descriptions :
** Integration of two images having different resolution to produce an image with high resolution from both the images is called pan sharpening process.
** Pan sharpening methods based on the Non-subsampled Contourlet Transform (NSCT) and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) is proposed.
** NSCT is shift invariant version of contourlet transform and it is a very effective method in capturing intrinsic geometrical structures of the objects and describing the directional information of the image.
** DWT is widely used in pan sharpening and image fusion process due to its properties such as multi-resolution and localization etc.
** So the technique can be enhanced by combining NSCT with DWT.
** NSCT and DWT based pan sharpening techniques are performed separately and the obtained results from both are fused by image averaging.
** In proposed NSCT technique a lower number of decomposition levels are used for multispectral (MS) images whereas a higher number of decomposition levels are used for pan chromatic images (PAN). This retains both spectral qualities and spatial qualities of an image.
** NSCT is performed before up-sampling this would more likely to retain the detailed information and structures of the MS image and thus remain more recognizable.
