ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Project Title:Pressure Drop Analysis in Go-karting Cylinder Head. Team Size - 1
An experimental and a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation had been carried on a go-karting cylinder head in determination of pressure drop at inlet and outlet ports. As a sample work an experiment and simulation carried on venturi meter to determine pressure drop of fluid flow in the venturi conduct. Secondly on the experimental setup and comparing the results with CFX.
My responsibilities: CORE COMPETENCIES
Study on fluid properties. CFD
Research on cylinder Geometries. CFX
Generating model. Cylinder head setup.
CFX Analysis. Mat lab
Results comparisons. Model design
Documentation.
Project Title “Reverse Engineering of Foot Bones using Solid-works. Team Size - 1
Brief Overview of the Project:
Reverse engineering of foot bones using the Faro laser arm scanner,
Importing the file in to Solidworks Tool Designing the foot bones and converting it in to solid object.
Rapid prototype is made using Fused Deposit Molding Machine.
Comparing the dimensions of original foot bone with rapid prototype bone using Co-ordinate Measuring Machine.
Course Work: - A human bone is scanned using a 3D scanner and created a STL file.
It is then imported into Pro/E to design Mobile and its stand. The designed mobile stand is then saved in STL format and is given as input to the FDM machine. Finally the rapid prototype model of the mobile stand is created.
Project Title : Rapid Prototyping of a Curved edge Bottle. Team Size - 1

Project Title: Improving heat transfer in radiator by using specialized fin Team Size - 6
Study was all about developing a different fin profile for radiator to improve heat transfer.
That was achieved by a typical aerofoil shape made zigzag to flow air in the radiator for long time. Results where 30% efficient than traditional fin profile.
My responsibilities:
Study on heat transfer phenomenon.
Research on various fin profiles.
Design of radiator fin
Experiments on two different fins.
Results comparisons.
Documentation.
Project Title: Design 3 lever drive – lever one Team Size - 6
3 –Lever Drive Lever is a toggle joint used to engage and disengaging the engine with gear box, it is one of three levers and most important part of toggle joint. The designing and manufacturing of this toggle joint was keenly observed and was undertaken in this project.
My responsibilities:
Material gathering.
Material selection.
Preparing process sheet.
Inspection.
