SUMMARY OF WORK DONE AND RESEARCH EXPERIENCE :
Project Title :
Isolation, screening, biosynthesis and partial purification of lignin degrading laccase producing fungi from coir.
Description :
The studies on the purification of laccase enzymes are revealed that the crude enzyme extract showed highest specific enzyme activity of 1.0 U/mg proteins, whereas ammonium sulphate precipitation, and DEAE-cellulose (Ion-exchange) chromatography showed highest specific enzyme activities of 3.5 and 4.3 U/mg proteins and yields 3.33% and 3.63% from Aspergillus awamori and Penicillium adametzii .
A detailed discussion of the findings of the present work is made with reference to the works done by the earlier workers in this field. The present study indicated that the synthetic medium (production medium) is suitable for the production of Laccase by employing Aspergillus awamoriand Penicillium adametzii. strain under submerged fermentation.

Work Station Inclination :
During my Degree course, I had been involved in almost all sorts of trainings, projects. And I have realized that I can get easily acclimatized to my work place. Beginning from working in a highly sterile and strict lab conditions to handle Animal and plant cell culture, to conduct molecular biology experiments, to the extent of collecting water samples from hospital and factory campus for microbial experiments, I have been on a run to understand the all-round aspect of the Biological world on my thoughts of considering every task as my work station.
