Description : Load balancing is the process of distributing the workload among various nodes of a distributed system where some of the nodes are heavily loaded while other nodes are idle or doing very little work.
This algorithm of Ant Colony Optimization has been applied from the perspective of cloud or grid network systems with the main aim of load balancing of nodes. In this project, a heuristic algorithm based on ant colony optimization has been proposed to initiate the service load distribution under cloud computing architecture. Our objective for this project is to develop an effective load balancing algorithm using Ant colony optimization technique to maximize or minimize different performance parameter network load.
